Geographical location
Moscow region has the area of 47.000 square km, situated on the Volga, Oka, Klyazma & Moscow rivers.
In the region there are minerals such as peat, phosphorus, red & white clay, building sand, raw materials for cement.

Administrative division
More than 6.5 million people live in Moscow region, it is 4,5% of the whole Russian population. In the region there are 74 towns, among them there are 15 with the population more than 100.000 people.

Culture
Moscow region is rich in monuments of architecture, history and culture to the well-known composers, artists, writers, actors and generals.
